Accreditation LogoNASBA National Registry of CPE Sponsors

On May 9, 2025, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) approved the Georgia Association of Public Plan Trustees as a registered sponsor on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.

The National Registry of CPE Sponsors was created to recognize CPE program sponsors that provide continuing professional education programs in accordance with nationally recognized standards. Only learning providers that are committed to offering high-quality continuing education programs, which improve a CPA’s professional competence, are listed on the Registry. The greatest benefit of becoming a registered sponsor is that all 55 State Boards of Accountancy accept CPE credit issued by Registry sponsors to satisfy a CPA’s CPE requirements.

To achieve status as a registered sponsor, the GAPPT had to demonstrate compliance with the Statement of Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs and the program requirements of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. The accreditation period extends one year and encompasses all in-person GAPPT educational programs offered during that time, including the Certified Retirement Plan Fiduciary™ program.

Not all continuing education is created equal… The GAPPT is proud to be “Leading Education Through Accreditation™.”
