On February 1, 2022, the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) awarded the Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees the prestigious Accredited Provider accreditation. Internationally recognized as offering the highest quality continuing education and training programs, IACET Accredited Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

To achieve Accredited Provider accreditation, the GAPPT completed a rigorous application process and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 2018-1 Standard for Continuing Education and Training by addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs. The accreditation period extends five years and encompasses all GAPPT educational programs offered or created during that time, including the Certified Retirement Plan Fiduciary™ program.

Not all continuing education is created equal… The GAPPT is the first and only organization in the nation, promoting public retirement plan trustee education, that is recognized as an IACET Accredited Provider. In addition, we believe there is no other similar organization in the country that currently holds a third-party accreditation. The GAPPT is proud to be “Leading Education Through Accreditation™.”
