GAPPT members receive a discounted rate for the Twelfth Annual Trustee School. An opportunity to join the Association, (or renew a membership), is available on the registration form.

The Trustee School registration fee includes two full days of comprehensive education, GAPPT-hosted meals, and evening networking receptions. Registration for the Certified Retirement Plan Fiduciary™ (CRPF™) Courses or the Defined Contribution Plan Fiduciary™ (DCPF™) Course includes materials, test preparation, and the course examination. 


REGISTRATION OPTIONS:

CRPF™ BASIC COURSE: The Certified Retirement Plan Fiduciary™ program provides consistent, regimented, and unbiased training to ensure public retirement system fiduciaries have the knowledge to confidently address the challenges they face. Designed for both trustees and staff, this course is for individuals seeking to begin to earn their CRPF™ designation. (Held Monday and Tuesday, with the examination on Wednesday | Prerequisites: None)

CRPF™ ADVANCED COURSE: This is the second course in the CRPF™ program. Individuals should register for this course after successfully completing the CRPF™ Basic Course. (Held Monday and Tuesday, with the examination on Wednesday | Prerequisites: CRPF™ Basic Course)

DCPF™ COURSE: New in 2026... The Defined Contribution Plan Fiduciary™ program provides comprehensive education for those engaged in administering public-sector defined contribution plans, such as 401(a), 457, and 403(b) plans. Offered as a one and half day program, registrants are encouraged to attend Monday's Continuing Education Course sessions. (Held Tuesday, with the examination on Wednesday | Prerequisites: None)

CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE: Designed for individuals who are currently CRPF™ designees and need their recertification CEC credits, or for those who are not interested in a designation but do need continuing education hours. (Held Monday and Tuesday | Prerequisites: None)

"NETWORKING ONLY" OPTION (Affiliates Only): For Affiliates who are not interested in obtaining a designation or do not need to earn and track continuing education hours. Networking only attendees are welcome to attend the Continuing Education Course sessions. 


PLAN SPONSOR REGISTRATION

Plan Sponsor registration is open to all individuals who are currently serving or have served as a trustee of a public retirement system board or serves as a staff member. They cannot be employed with an entity serving the retirement community, such as an actuarial, consulting, custodial, legal, third-party administration or investment management firm.

Organizational "Key Members" have the option to register on behalf of their plan members. Fees will be combined on a single invoice for payment purposes.

The early bird registration rate for Plan Sponsor Members is $189.00 per individual*. (The non-member Plan Sponsor rate is $259.00.)

AFFILIATE REGISTRATION

Affiliate registration is open to individuals who have expressed an interest in the GAPPT and its mission, but do not fall within the definition of a Plan Sponsor or Emeritus attendee. Individuals with actuarial, consulting, custodial, legal, third-party administration and investment management firms would be considered Affiliate participants.

The early bird registration rate for Affiliate Members is $750.00 per individual*. (The non-member Affiliate rate is $1,700.00.)

GUEST REGISTRATION

A guest is a spouse, significant other, friend or an adult child (21 years old or older) who is not in a retirement industry-related occupation. An individual employed by actuarial, consulting, custodial, legal, third-party administration or investment management firm may not register as an attendee's guest.

The early bird registration rate for Guests is $129.00 per individual.*

Only one guest per registered attendee may attend the Trustee School. Guests who plan to attend any Trustee School event, (including meals, receptions or sessions), must register. Name badges are required to attend all GAPPT Trustee School activities.

The last day for registration refunds is September 3, 2026. All refunds are subject to a $25.00 processing fee. | Beginning September 4, 2026, the registration rates will be $219.00 for Plan Sponsor members ($289.00 for non-members), $850.00 for Affiliate members ($1,800.00 for non-members) and $159.00 for guests.
